  • Collected: Site C, Leipers Shale   in Nashville, Tennessee, USA, from Upper Ordivician deposits.
  • Estimated Age: about 450 million years old.
  • Comments: Scale bar on first image is .5 mm  Transcluscent cone shows details of laminar structure, and basilar cavity still filled with small amount of debris.  Careful inspection suggests however that this may be the cusp fragment from a larger blade similar to C34A47
