  • Comments: Scale Bar is .5 mm.  This conodont was recovered using 10% acetic acid to dissolve crushed limestone, which has produced many intact and complex elements.  Complex platform functioned as grinding teeth which apparently interlocked.  Captured as mosaic image with JVC-1000 digital videocamera.   X01 is Viewed under oil immersion.   S04 and 05 were illuminated with darkfield lighting, and images recombined to form horizonal animation.  S03  and S06 were illuminated from overhead side spots.
